Jodi Dean’s areas of scholarly interest range from contemporary political theory and communism through feminist theory and climate change. As an author, she is best known for The Communist Horizon (2012), Crowds and Party (2016), and Comrade. An Essay on Political Belonging (2019). She coedited with Charisse Burden-Stelly Organize, Fight, Win: Black Communist Women’s Political Writing (2022).
