Beverley Best is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Concordia University, Montréal. She is the author of The Automatic Fetish: The Law of Value in Marx’s Capital (Verso, 2024), Marx and the Dynamic of the Capital Formation: An Aesthetics of Political Economy (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010) and co-editor (with Werner Bonefeld and Chris O’Kane) of the three-volume Handbook of Frankfurt School Critical Theory (SAGE Publications, 2018).
