Sociologist from the University of Buenos Aires and Doctor of Social Sciences from the National University of Quilmes, Argentina. Currently a Professor of Sociology for historians at the University of Buenos Aires and a Researcher at the National Council of Scientific Research of Argentina (CONICET). He has worked on the relationship between the mode of capital accumulation, class struggle, and the mode of political domination in contemporary Argentina, as well as on the theory of classes, the State and hegemony. His publications include Acumulación y hegemonía en la Argentina menemista (2012); Economía y política en la Argentina kirchnerista (2015); and Estado y capital. El debate derivacionista, compiled with Alberto Bonnet (2024). He co-edited with Agustín Santella Marxism, Social Movements and Collective Action for Palgrave Macmillan’s “Marx, Engels, and Marxisms” series in 2022.
